Meet the WordNerds!

E. Latimer is the author of THE STRANGE AND DEADLY PORTRAITS OF BRYONY GRAY and WITCHES OF ASH AND RUIN. Her second middle grade novel, ESCAPE TO WITCH CITY, comes out from Penguin Random House in 2021. When she’s not writing, Erin can be found reading and drinking excessive amounts of tea, or hanging around local coffee shops with her writing group.

Emma Kate is an aspiring author, a library assistant, and an overall nerd located in Central Florida. When she isn’t nose deep in a book, she can be found at one of the many theme parks around her (and probably tweeting pictures of the Hogwarts castle).

Kellie Sheridan is an author/vlogger/book manager from Ontario, Canada… it’s basically all books all the time. When not reading or writing she can be found online talking about reading and writing. Or curled up with her dog, watching far too much Netflix.

Meghan grew up in the oldest city in the United States, and all its local ghost stories fueled her passion for writing dark, twisty books. She received a B.A. in Linguistics and creates educational children’s videos for her day job.

Rachel Sargeant is a YA Fantasy writer who hails from Vancouver, Canada. When not on the sets of photoshoots or in bed with a laptop, she can be found reading more books than she can handle, watching Marvel movies, and cuddling with her antisocial cat.

Desiraye Williams is the youngest of the group at 24 years old, and she is currently studying Elementary Education in college. She is also the owner of the small business Delightful Dezigns. When she is not working on school or crafting more often than not she is at the library reading or working on a story. Her favorite genre to write is YA Fantasy and she hopes to have her first novel published sometime in the near future!

Helen Powers is a university student who is working towards Bachelor of Arts. In her spare time she likes to read one of her hundreds of books and is always working on multiple knitting projects. If you’re having trouble finding her, she’s probably snuggled up in her room watching Tangled or working on her latest manuscript.

Calyn Morgan is a writer of YA supernatural horror who is obsessed with the unknown and cheesy ghost hunting TV shows. These days Calyn can be found lurking in the shadows of the channel with occasional appearances in Sunday live-chats. A mother of three, she juggles her time between family, work, writing, and quoting The Office as much as possible.
